MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Our industry is not a bed of roses…
I first made this statement 10 years ago at our 10th anniversary. Now, 10 years later this still holds true, more than ever. The widespread use of modern technology has made our industry much more aggressive and extremely competitive.
2019 is a very special year for us as we are celebrating 20 years in the steel detailing industry. From our humble beginnings we have grown immensely, overhauled our entire detailing software and detailed thousands of tons of steel. We are stronger than ever because of our experience, results, consistency and most importantly the care we have for our valued clients.
At Phoenix Drafting Services, we are ALL IN, leaving no stone unturned when it comes to getting the job done!
HISTORY
Phoenix Drafting Services Inc. was incorporated in 1999. We are a medium sized drafting company, providing quality structural and miscellaneous steel detailing services to steel fabricators throughout the United States.
In the early days we went from drafting on the board to AutoCad and SteelCAD. In 2006 we acquired our first Tekla Structures licence. This opened up many doors for us in the industry with steel fabricators that were fully automated.
EXPERIENCE
With over 20 years of experience, we have the capacity to provide structural steel detailing for a wide range of projects, from tilt-ups to convoluted structures, including residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial and institutional with weights ranging up to 3000 tons. We have recently been involved in projects using SidePlate systems.
EXPERTISE
We understand that steel fabrication is very competitive with increasingly short deadlines and it is imperative that shop drawings are accurate and on time. This can only be achieved if our detailers have a thorough understanding of the main super structure and are capable of detecting connection conflicts and building code issues. Our detailers are trained to not only understand the design drawings and to keep up to date with the latest detailing software but to also consider other aspects of the construction industry.
It is our mission to deliver the highest quality, error-free shop and erection drawings in a timely and efficient manner and to make sure that best interests of our customers are protected.
